Pool Filter Sand Change

If you were to look at them under a microscope, the grains of sand added to your pool filter start out sharp and jagged - this enables them to trap the tiny particles that can cause cloudy water. Over time, as the sand tumbles around in the filter, these grains wear down, becoming smooth and lessening their ability to catch debris.

It is recommended to change the sand every 3 to 5 years. Many pool owners are surprised at the difference in water quality after a sand change!

Winter is a great time to take care of this maintenance task. Our schedules are light, your pool isn't being used, and best of all... it's 10% off through February 1!

Sand change service is $350 plus sand ($15.88 per 50 lb bag). Most  filters require 6 to 10 bags of sand. Replacement of internal components, if needed, are at additional cost.
