Northwest Arkansas Pool & Spa

Winter Pool Service

Our winter maintenance service entails water level management to minimize freeze damage, which is especially critical for gunite pools on the steps. Freezing water can also pop off or break tiles at the waterline. We inspect the water level and pump it down if too high. If the water level is low, the pool may be leaking and we will contact you to discuss options.

In addition to water level management, at winter visits we apply either algicide or chlorine tablets to minimize algae growth. Pools maintained during the winter cost an average of 50% less to open in the spring because they don’t require multiple visits to clear the water.

Finally, we’ll blow leaves off the pool cover and do a quick inspection to stay ahead of any seasonal changes to the pool area.
